Abstract Mixed Media Acrylic Landscape

Learn how to achieve abstraction in your landscape pieces using acrylic paints, simple tools, and easy techniques. In this class, Alison Watt (@alisonwatt.art) will show you how to:

• Discern what kind of landscapes and photos lend themselves to abstraction

• Experiment with simple tools and how to modify them to create suggestive textures

• Layer different types of medium (paints, inks, and acrylic mediums) and other mark-making pigments (markers, oil pastel and charcoal).

By the end of this class, you will be able to create simple yet vibrant abstract landscape pieces from things you can find at home.
